Accountability Group Reflection

This week I met with my accountability group to discuss how we are progressing with our projects. I explained to my group that didn’t get too much done in terms of the actual project, but instead I focused more on preparing for the showcase itself. My group had been in communication with the other group that is using the audio lab and we are currently working on a schedule for when we can use the audio lab to do test runs of our installation. Me and my project partner also managed to resolve a technical issue that occurred last week.

I also explained how I am following advice that was previously given to me by them and brainstormed with different sounds that I could use as background ambiance. So far, some viable options are an air conditioner/HVAC room, a furnace/boiler room, a heavy medal door. Now that the issues from last week are resolved I plan on recording the sounds mentioned above and experimenting with them in REAPER to see how they sound as background ambiance.
